Executive Committee

Jaco Swanepoel - CEO

As co-founder and CEO, Jaco Swanepoel played a key role in the development of the company and the listing of SilverBridge on the JSE-Altx in 2007. His experience in financial services and information technology goes back twenty-five years and helped him to play a leading role in the founding and building of SDT. He also played a major role in the creation of SilverBridge Holdings. He started his career in Sanlam's actuarial department and later joined Momentum Life where he was involved in most aspects of life insurance administration, including IT.

He holds a BSc (Econ) form the North West University.

 

Jaco Maritz – Financial Director

Jaco is the financial director of the Group and joined SilverBridge Software Solutions in 2005. He has been involved in the information technology sector for more than ten years ranging from consulting to structuring of long-term sales transactions, outsourcing, new business initiations, due diligences and other strategic initiatives.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has completed an executive management course at the University of Pretoria.

 

Gawie Erasmus - Channel & Solution Design Executive

Gawie joined SilverBridge in 2007 and has extensive experience in managing IT application implementations. Gawie is responsible for channel management and solution design in SilverBridge. He has held various senior management positions in companies such as KPMG, CS Holdings and Pebble Bed Modular Reactor during his 14 year career.

Gawie Erasmus qualified as a Chartered Accountant after completing his studies at the Universities of Pretoria and South Africa respectively, and did his articles at KPMG.

 

Johan Reyneke – Operations Executive

Johan has held various positions across the industry which includes amongst others: General Manager Sales and Marketing at Momentum, Managing Director of Absa brokers for eight years and Manager Executive of Personal Bank Sales at Absa for two years. He has acted in an advisory capacity to SDT since 1995 and served as a non-executive director of SDT for nine years. Johan joined SilverBridge is 2010 and looks after the delivery portfolio.

 

Lee Kuyper – Commercial Executive

Lee joined SilverBridge in 2007 and is responsible for commercial development in the business. His duties as the Commercial Executive include overseeing the new business and existing account development functions, as well as commercial partnering and relationships. He worked as an audit manager at PwC and during this time was seconded to the Gautrain Management Agency as acting CFO on a full time basis for a year.

Lee Kuyper qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) after completing his studies at the University of Pretoria and articles at PwC.

 

Wilhelm du Toit – Product Development Executive

Wilhelm has held various positions in the development of software across various industries. These positions varied from fulfilling systems engineering roles within the IT industry, business analyst roles; functional lead roles; implementation lead roles and development management roles. He is well versed in the Agile development methodologies and has built up practical experience across various platforms.
